A passionate advocate for Arab women, Hala has made their education and personal development a focal point of her work in the last 10 years. She is founder and director of Global Bounty. She is also founder of Vision Communications, a non-profit committed to producing and distributing educational and inspirational multi-media content for Arab audiences around the world.
Hala is also a marketing consultant and strategic development planner. For over 20 years, she has led marketing, advertising and branding campaigns for national and international corporations. Her clients include businesses in the education, healthcare, foodservice, manufacturing, engineering, international trade, and communications fields.
Hala produced several award-winning short films about, and for, Arab women. She has a B.S. in Political Science from the American University in Cairo.
Susan has over 20 years of international management and leadership experience in both the private and public sectors. She has developed high impact leaders in Afghanistan and Libya and worked in places such as Morocco, Iraq, Turkey, Uganda, Indonesia, and Egypt.
She is the founding partner of Amoveo LLC in Austin, Texas, and is focused on developing influential leaders to think new, act different, and create change™. Previously, she co-founded and led Silk Road Solutions in Kabul, Afghanistan. SRS conducted numerous leadership and business development programs throughout Afghanistan and into Libya.
Before moving to Afghanistan, Susan worked with organizations committed to initiating businesses and NGOs in emerging nations. Susan has an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Education from Baylor University.
Ahdy is Chief Operating Officer of Wadi Degla Developments — Resorts, one of the largest real estate development companies in the Middle East. He is the founder of multiple private businesses that range from computer trading to car rentals. He is the CEO of Trans Atlantic Gateway, a company that has a 21-year track record in the import and distribution of food and beverage products.
Ahdy is also founder and current Chairman of I The Egyptian, a non-profit foundation that provides an integrated approach to poverty alleviation in Egypt. He has worked extensively with at-risk children in the fields of rehabilitation and training, as well as underprivileged women in the area of microfinance.
He is a graduate of the American University in Cairo, where he studied physics.
Jenifer holds a doctoral degree in public health (DrPH), specializing in Clinical Preventive Care, a Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Promotion and Education, emphasis in Gerontology, a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Science and six national certifications in health, fitness and nutrition through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Her doctoral degree integrates the medical management model with lifestyle disease intervention, combining exercise, nutrition, stress management, weight management, and behavior modification to elicit optimal health practices.
Dr. Mason was the founder and past president of the Center for Activity Research and Education, CARE, a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to adult health and wellness promotion. She was also associate professor at Loma Linda University, and Program Director for the residential wellness program at the Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas, Texas.
